Kingswood United Methodist Church was established in 1954 in the Brookside Community. Many people throughout the years have attended Kingswood worship services, Sunday school, special holiday services, and other community events. Kingswood continues to serve the Brookside community in many ways, such as missions and outreach programs within the community, as well as throughout the world, with a focus of making disciples for Jesus Christ. Throughout the years, generations of families continue to attend Kingswood and continue these traditions. The world has changed so much since 1954, but the Kingswood family continues to strive to bring light, hope, and faith into our community today.

Rev. John Hornberger has been a pastor for 30 years and just recently accepted an appointment to Kingswood on July 1, 2022. He is excited to bring his experience to our church and our community. We are all looking forward to this new journey together.
